While my folks were here my son-in-law (I do not like that term, I call him my son), Joe, deployed from Germany to Afghanistan. My daughter, Meg, and two grandsons, Danik and Gavril, flew in from Germany to spend five glorious weeks here. The boys are four and two and as adorable as can be. They had their own list of things they wanted to do while visiting Grandma and Grandpa:

✔ – Go to the zoo
✔ – Ride a pony
✔ – Ride a camel
✔ – Go apple picking
✔ – See their Great Grandma and Great Grandpa (my parents)
✔ – Play at Chuck E Cheese
✔ – Play at the park
✔ – Visit their Great, Great Grandpa (aka Papaw)
As you see, everything was checked off their list, who could deny such precious little boys? Because of all of this, I had to take a “break” from writing. I will close this out with a photo from our visit to see Papaw. Yes, take a good look at this photo it is five generations together! Life does not get much sweeter than this.
Stay tuned for Part 4!
